Selena Gomez is officially in bride-to-be mode. The actress and singer recently celebrated her upcoming wedding to music producer Benny Blanco with a beachside bachelorette trip in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where she was joined by a close circle of friends.
On August 28, Gomez posted an Instagram carousel offering an inside look at the festivities. In the photos, she alternated between a series of all-white bridal looks, including a pearl halter minidress paired with a Lulus veil and a Cult Gaia long-sleeve floral appliqué dress. The backdrop included ocean views, candlelit dinners, and plenty of on-theme decor, including balloons spelling out “BRIDE” and “MRS LEVIN.”
A source told Us Weekly that “it was a very fun but chill weekend. These girls have been close to her for over a decade now, so it meant the world to her to celebrate these moments with them.”
According to the source, in addition to a boat day, the group enjoyed “private dinners with a chef and a villa to themselves with plenty of lounging in the sun.”
The insider added that “her girlfriends went out of their way to make Selena feel really special,” pointing out that they filled the space with photos of Blanco, planned “fun games,” and even had “personalized decor and outfits.”
The source continued, “It was your typical, traditional bachelorette and what Selena wanted. She was radiating all weekend and was so happy to have downtime with her girlfriends. Selena is a simple girl, and the little things go a long way with her. She truly exudes happiness when she talks about Benny. She is very excited to start this next chapter with him.”
While Gomez was in Mexico, Blanco held his own bachelor party in Las Vegas, sharing glimpses of his weekend on his Instagram Stories.
