Next month, Jack Blues Bieber will turn one, and his dad, Justin Bieber, is soaking up every moment with him. The singer shared two new photos yesterday of his baby boy sitting in a high chair next to him. He kept Jack’s face hidden, as he and his wife, Hailey Bieber, have consistently done in the family photos they share to protect his privacy.

Hailey recently spoke to Vogue about her pregnancy with Jack and her transition into motherhood. “The pregnancy was difficult for me to wrap my head around. It was a surprise, and you go through a lot of emotions,” she began. “There are certain warnings: Your life is never going to be the same again. It changes in good ways, but it’s not going to be the same. You’re never going to be just an individual without a child ever again. And you’re not going to just be you and your partner, just the two of you. There was a lot for me mentally.”

Once Jack arrived, he became her and Justin’s world: “He’s my priority,” Hailey said. “He is the most important thing to me. [Motherhood has] been my biggest teacher so far, the biggest teacher in my relationship. You see your partner so differently. I think you empathize with your parents a lot more. There’s so much perspective that comes with it.”

Justin, meanwhile, told the outlet in an email that as a new father, he’s “walking in the days I always dreamed of.”
