In February 2020, Hailey told ELLE that she and Justin reconnected in June 2018—and ultimately started dating. They got engaged a month later and married in September 2018.

“We ended up being at this church conference together in Miami, and it was the first time we’d seen each other in a while,” she recalled. “I remember we were hanging out and I was like, ‘Listen, I’m really, really happy for us to be friends again. On June 24, a source told Us Weekly that while Justin and Hailey were going through a “difficult time,” the couple would “do anything to make it [their marriage] work.”

“They believe they are soulmates and meant for each other,” the source added.
