The Bauhaus celebrates a festival on its construction site: Behind it all, a scandal rumbles

After more than 20 years, the Bauhaus Archive's extension is almost complete. It will be a "little tower." The festival "Come to the Construction Site!" is also taking place.
A beautiful weekend is just around the corner. From Friday to Sunday, the Bauhaus Archive in the Tiergarten will open its construction site, and the whole city is invited to celebrate a festival in perfect weather. There will be architectural tours, artistic installations, workshops, and music. You can even print your own T-shirt, perhaps with the famous Bauhaus emblem, the symbol of Germany's aesthetic flagship in the world—the most important school of architecture, design, and art of the 20th century. Founded in 1919 by Walter Gropius , shut down by the Nazis in 1933; Bauhaus heroes Mies van der Rohe , Paul Klee, Marcel Breuer, and Annie Albers are still on everyone's lips today.
