David Galán pardons Tramposo de Lagunajanda in Tarifa on his return to the bullring.

David Galán had been away from the bullring for six years, but he decided to return to the ring on the occasion of his twentieth anniversary as a bullfighter, in a highly anticipated lineup in which he shared the ring with Pepe Moral and Manuel Escribano , to kill a bullfight at Lagunajanda in Tarifa. It also marked the return of bullfighting to the town.
The bullfight was unbeatable, with all three bulls carrying their shoulders. Particularly moving was the performance of the bull on his return to the ring, named Tramposo, number 27. According to Mundotoro, the animal had extraordinary stamina, longevity, stability, and nobility, characteristics for which he was spared after a performance by Galán, which began on a low note and delivered an intense performance that the Malaga native enjoyed.
He also cut two more ears from the fifth bull, in a performance based primarily on natural techniques, where he displayed composure and skill that impressed the crowd. After the thrust, he paraded the double trophy, amid the enthusiasm of those present, especially his daughter, to whom he dedicated the second bull of the afternoon.
Manuel Escribano opened the event, receiving the first bull with a long thrust in the third section. The animal wasn't overly energetic, and Manuel knew how to manage it with good right-handed passes. Manoletinas, a sword thrust, and an ear. Like the first bull, he placed banderillas on the fourth bull, and was superior to his opponent. A great sword thrust and two ears.
Pepe Moral didn't let the fight go unchallenged either: the Sevillian bullfighter first fought the most serious bull of the bullfight. He began on his knees to bring the bull to the center of the ring, where, as usual, his natural bullfighting shone, with the bull gaining momentum. The bull from Lagunajanda was awarded a lap of honor, and Moral took home two ears after a thrust. He again excelled with his left hand with the bullfighter, from whom he cut the final prize of the afternoon, although this time he was less successful with his sword.
