This is how Lluís Permanyer concluded an article referring to the name that the UPF-led research center next to the Parc de la Ciutadella will receive. Permanyer advocates for the new facility to be named the Galeria de Màquines , which is the name given to the pavilion that occupied the same site at the 1888 Exposition. It makes sense. Galeria de Màquines is a suggestive name for a center that will address the relationship between technology and society.
