Taylor Swift announces new album, 'The Life of a Showgirl'

Taylor Swift announces the release of " The Life of a Showgirl ," her twelfth studio album. For this highly anticipated announcement, she enlisted the help of Travis Kelce, the singer's partner, and Jason Kelce, the pop star's brother.
Although she hasn't yet revealed the cover art or release date, Swift has been dropping hints. Just after midnight on Tuesday in the United States, the singer's official website displayed blurred images of a vinyl record, a CD, and a cassette tape with an orange lock. The release date is also a mystery, but a warning indicates that all albums will be shipped by October 13.
To announce this pre-sale, the American singer appeared on the podcast " New Heights ," hosted by her football player boyfriend and her brother, a former NFL player. "I wanted to show you guys something, this is my new album, 'The Life of a Show Girl,'" Swift explained in a video posted on Instagram during the recording. She also announced that both the cover art and the release date would be revealed at a later date.
The 35-year-old composer has been re-recording her first six studio albums since 2021 in order to regain the rights to them. This new LP comes more than a year after her last album, ' The Tortured Poets Department .'
The 14-time Grammy winner broke records with her ' Eras ' tour, which took her across much of the globe in the nearly two years it lasted.
