The wife of renowned Mexican actor Omar Chaparro revealed how she discovered his infidelity with a fan: "My world fell apart."

Lucy Ruiz, content creator and wife of Mexican actor and comedian Omar Chaparro, has long heard that “their relationship was the most stable in showbiz.”

But, far from what many thought, their marriage faced one of its most critical moments: infidelity on the part of the actor.

In a recent interview with journalist Adriana Gallardo, the woman opened up about how she discovered her partner's cheating. She also revealed the emotional process she went through and how she came to forgive him.

It all started when Ruiz was at a country house with his three children during Holy Week . Chaparro, meanwhile, was "on a motorcycle trip with friends."

On this trip, an acquaintance wrote to her and revealed to Ruiz some news that would change her forever: “An acquaintance writes to me and says: ' A friend is bragging to me that she's very excited that she's going out with Omar .'”

Upon learning this, the woman said that “her world fell apart.”

Determined, she returned to the city and confronted the comedian, to whom she's been married for more than 20 years . "I remember waking up, getting ready to go to exercise. I said, 'Hey, I'm going for a run. When I get back, I'm going to talk.'"

When she returned, she confronted him, and Chaparro told her the truth : "Yes, it was a fan, you know." This news wasn't easy for Ruiz. According to what she told the journalist, she felt resentful and hurt for a long time.

Meanwhile, the comedian insisted that "it was a mistake" and begged her forgiveness. Despite what happened, the content creator chose to forgive him.

"Enough is enough. How much longer am I going to continue like this?" she asked herself at that moment. That's when she decided to go back to him.
