At the Museum of Romanity in Nîmes, the temporary exhibition "Gauls, but Romans!" dissects the Gallo-Roman period and reveals the finesse of Gallic works that became Romanized.

The Gaul is not just a bearded and hairy character. While the stereotype persists, the new temporary exhibition at the Musée de la Romanité in Nîmes re-establishes some truths with the exhibition "Gauls, but Romans!", in partnership with the Musée d'archéologie nationale (MAN). "It's about showing a Gaul different from the one we know, the one that became Romanized after Caesar's conquest," says curator Nicolas de Larquier, general curator of the exhibition, supported by scientific curator Thierry Dechezleprêtre.
