For its 9th edition, the international Constellations festival transforms Metz into a nocturnal museum. The cathedral, cloister, town hall... its iconic monuments, accessible free of charge to the public, become the backdrop for luminous artistic creations.
Connoisseurs or not, the international festival Constellations de Metz will surely sure to look at the city differently for visitors. For nine years, the Moselle city has organized this event every summer which promotes digital arts and heritage. Digital Stones , the night-time tour proposed in this context (1), thus presents 14 new works designed by artists and specialists in "mapping", a technique that involves transforming three-dimensional surfaces into screens for projecting audiovisual works. Among the sites in Metz that benefit from this technology are the Basilica of Saint-Vincent, the Place de la Comédie, and the Temple Neuf.
