Nancy. Artstom 2025: a new exhibition, and in abundance

The 129th Lorraine Artists' Exhibition marks a turning point. Not only is it moving to the Octroi, but it's also becoming a biennial event, with 400 works on display. And artists are knocking on its door in ever-increasing numbers, even professionals! This is undoubtedly proof of a growing level of excellence.
Numbers don't tell the whole story. But these are quite telling all the same: 400 and 160. In other words, 400 selected works, signed by 160 exhibitors. The figures for the 129th edition of the exhibition organized by the Lorraine artists' association, now also known as Artstom.
This name is due to his ten-year stay in the former Alstom wasteland, now closed to the public. At least for now. This year, hundreds of paintings and sculptures were hung in the large Halle de l'Octroi, for the public to see. At least, that's what the organizers hope.
