During filming last October, producer Bachir Arfaoui promised a Saint-Tropez premiere. He kept his word. The cast and crew of the film Comme des riches (apart from Philippe Katerine on tour and the many guests including Frédérique Bel, Philippe Lacheau, Adil Rami, etc.) were there Saturday evening at Cinéma Star for a free screening, with Eric Judor in the audience and Jean-Roch, who made a cameo in the VIP Room as himself.
A good laugh about the misadventures of these suburbanites who want to live the high life in Saint-Tropez, even if everything doesn't go as planned...
In addition to the beautiful shots of the village, Ramatuelle, Grimaud and the Villa Mauresque in Saint-Raphaël served as natural settings for this production, which will be released in some 250 copies on July 23. "It's a tribute to the comedies of yesteryear. We tried to respect the codes!" emphasizes Bachir Arfaoui, who thanked the municipality for all the doors that were opened to him.
