Vivaldi revisited at the Trinity Chapel

The result is an original work, taking up the thematic and harmonic material of Vivaldi's original concertos, sprinkling here and there a few effects and "accidents" of his own: rhythmic modifications, fanciful additions, little melodic and harmonic jokes... Never before presented in France, the work will see its national premiere performed under the aegis of the Concert de l'Hostel Dieu - on historical instruments of course - conducted by Franck-Emmanuel Comte with the exceptional participation of Patrick Cohën-Akenine on solo violin.
