“I’ll never stop looking for you”: Chiara Tramontano presents her book at Feltrinelli in Naples, a memoir to remember Giulia and Thiago

On Monday 9 June at 6:00 pm, at Feltrinelli in Piazza dei Martiri in Naples, Chiara Tramontano will present her book Non smettererò mai di cercarti , published by Cairo. The meeting will be moderated by journalist Chiara Marasca of Corriere del Mezzogiorno . The presentation takes place at a time in history in which violence against women continues to deeply question civil society. The author, through her own experience, offers a space for sharing that goes beyond the personal level and opens to public reflection. Free admission until seats are filled.

I'll Never Stop Looking for You is an intimate story written by Chiara Tramontano, Giulia's sister, a victim of femicide while she was seven months pregnant with little Thiago. The story begins on May 27, 2023, the day Giulia disappeared, when Chiara receives news that will change her life and that of her family forever. The book retraces the anguished days of the search, the discovery of the truth, the heartbreaking pain of their family unit and the long judicial process. With intense and emotional prose, Chiara leads us into childhood memories shared with her sister: their differences, their conflicts, the deep love that united them. She recounts her transformation after the tragedy, from the abyss of suffering to the certainty that Giulia is there and will always be there, up to the search for a new balance. And again, the impossibility of forgiving and the awareness that, despite everything, life must go on. Particularly touching is the reflection on the sense of guilt of the survivors and on the difficult path of "letting go" without forgetting. The book ends with a touching letter to her niece, also named Giulia in honor of her sister, in which the author shares memories and hopes, transforming pain into a legacy of love. A powerful memoir that addresses universal themes: grief, family, the search for justice and the ability to find meaning even in the most devastating losses. A testimony that honors the memory of Giulia and Thiago, transforming a personal tragedy into a message of resistance, awareness and unconditional love.

Chiara Tramontano was born in Naples in 1996. She studied at the Federico II University, obtaining a doctorate in science. After having lived in Finland and Genoa, she now lives and works in the Netherlands as a researcher, standing out as an Italian excellence in her field. This is her first book, born from the need to process the mourning and keep alive the memory of her sister Giulia and nephew Thiago, victims of femicide in
