by Marco Milano
Città della Scienza announces two new dates for the return of Nights at the Museum: Friday 27 June and Friday 18 July with a scientific camping experience that will give the opportunity to live in a sleeping bag under the starry sky of the Planetarium. On 27 June, the very young guests will be involved in a night-time treasure hunt , between nature, science and fantasy. On 18 July, the main activity will be “Crime Lab” that will transform the participants into real detectives. The children will have to solve a mysterious case using cutting-edge scientific techniques, trying their hand at experiments and analyses as expert investigators. The workshops, on both dates, will take place in the museum rooms and the garden spaces, under the guidance of qualified scientific animators who will accompany the children for the entire duration of the event, including the night. The experience will be enriched by a live show in the Planetarium, a journey to discover the most famous constellations and the life cycle of the stars. The program also includes moments of socialization for a night that will combine play, science, sharing and wonder, designed to stimulate the curiosity and independence of the little ones. Saturday and Sunday, then, it will be the turn of "a weekend of fire and water" at Città della Scienza with experiments and discoveries for the whole family. On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 June, in fact, the Science Centre will offer activities that will explore the fundamental elements of nature through experiments and games. The weekend will be animated by two science shows, "Giochi di Fuoco" will be a journey to discover fire, an element that has marked human evolution, while in "Giochi di Acqua", the protagonist will be water with the opportunity for visitors to explore the chemical-physical properties of this fundamental resource. In addition to the science shows, the summer at Città della Scienza offers visitors guided tours of the interactive museum of the human body Corporea, the opportunity to explore the renewed "Insects & Co." exhibition and to travel among the stars with the fascinating shows of the Planetarium.
