Cultural funding, green light from the 5th Regional Commission

The Fifth Regional Commission, chaired by Diego Bernardis (Fedriga President), approved – with a majority vote – eight new regulations regarding the annual funding of three-year cultural projects (for the three-year period 2026-2028). These regulations, in terms of structure and most criteria, remain largely unchanged from the regulations for the previous three-year period. The application deadline is scheduled for next November. Regional Councillor Mario Anzil emphasized an important new development: the co-participation of beneficiaries, who are thus encouraged to combine the Region with other funding entities, albeit to a lesser extent, in order to diversify the funding.

The committee also discussed the bill presented by Markus Maurmair (Brothers of Italy) for comment. The aim, organizers and politicians alike, is to introduce recognition, mapping, protection, valorization, and promotion of historical reenactments in Friuli Venezia Giulia through the creation of a dedicated register to include them, the assignment of an identifying logo, new financial contributions, and workshop activities for children and young people.
The Unpli Fvg (Friuli Venezia Giulia Region) highlighted the innovation in the refreshment options available, particularly for events canceled due to weather conditions. Representatives from various municipalities, from Sacile to Palmanova, from Polcenigo to Romans d'Isonzo, Fagagna, Cividale, Pordenone Erto e Casso, and Ciconicco, highlighted improvements and proposals.
