Ace Frehley, former guitarist and founder of KISS, dies

Ace Frehley , legendary guitarist and founding member of the iconic band KISS , died this Thursday at the age of 74, after spending several days hospitalized in critical condition.

According to information published by the TMZ portal, Frehley suffered a brain hemorrhage after a fall in his studio, which led to him being rushed to the hospital and placed on life support.

Although his family initially held out hope for a recovery, his health did not improve, and his death was confirmed on Wednesday.

The accident forced the musician to cancel several tour dates, and despite a statement posted on his social media at the end of September stating that he was "fine," his condition has rapidly worsened in recent weeks.

In early October, the final cancellation of the remainder of her 2025 performances was announced due to "ongoing medical issues."

So far, the family hasn't made any statements, but KISS fans have already expressed their solidarity and support during this difficult time: "Rest in peace, Ace. You inspired me to play," "Rest in peace, Spaceman," "Thank you for everything. Your music will live on forever. Wherever I look at the stars, I'll see you," "Fly high, legend."
