Writer Blanca Athié was recognized with the 2025 Agustín Yáñez National Short Story Award for her book Elena, Lucía, Anaïs, a collection of eight stories inspired by the writers Elena Garro, Lucia Berlín, and Anaïs Nin, who, through reality or imagination, connect with Puerto Vallarta, the city in which the book was written.
