A new health resort is coming to Poland. The authorities are ready to spend millions.

• Construction of a PLN 12.3 million Spa Park has begun in Czarny Dunajec, with PLN 8.7 million of that amount coming from subsidies. The investment includes the creation of recreational spaces, green areas, and infrastructure that will enhance the attractiveness of the commune for residents and tourists.
• The creation of the park is just the first step in a broader plan to transform the town into a health resort. The local government is already considering building a health resort hospital, the cost of which is estimated at around 60 million złoty.
• Thanks to the implementation of these projects, Czarny Dunajec hopes to obtain the formal status of a health resort, which in the long term will translate into the development of health tourism, new jobs and additional sources of income for the municipality and its residents.

For years, it has been striving to obtain spa status, and the first step in this direction is the construction of the Spa Park.

According to se.pl, the investment, worth PLN 12.3 million, of which PLN 8.7 million comes from subsidies, is to begin this year and become a showcase for the region, attracting patients and tourists .

However, the plans don't end there. Local authorities are preparing for another, much larger investment: the construction of a spa hospital. Currently, the land acquisition process for the project is underway, with implementation expected to be greenlit by 2029. The estimated cost of the project is approximately PLN 60 million.

If these bold plans are realized, Czarny Dunajec has a chance to join the ranks of the region's most important spas. Visitors could then expect a stay in a modern place designed for healing, regeneration, and relaxation.
