Immerse Yourself in Van Gogh. Exhibition at the Digital Art Center

"Van Gogh – The Immersive Exhibition" has opened at the newly established Digital Art Center at 5 Twardowskiego Street in Szczecin. This event combines art with modern technology.
The curator of the Szczecin edition is painter Daria Solar, who explained the uniqueness of the project during the opening: "Here we have a combination of a multimedia and sensory exhibition – one that surrounds us on all sides. It's a 45-minute show, showing the entire life of Vincent van Gogh through his work, complete with a voice-over and the beautiful music of Chopin and Beethoven. We also have an exhibition of 20 copies of van Gogh's paintings, made in oil on a 1:1 scale by the co-creator of the film 'Loving Vincent.' These are truly exquisite works."
The exhibition covers over 2,000 square meters, and large-format screens display hundreds of the artist's works, which—thanks to Digital Art 360 technology—literally come to life and surround the viewer from all sides. "We also have a VR zone with a three-dimensional presentation. Viewers put on special glasses and journey through van Gogh's paintings—for example, they sail along the digital Rhône River. It's incredibly impressive, so please hold on to your seat," the curator adds with a smile.
The exhibition also has educational value. In addition to the multimedia presentation, there are biographical notes, photographs of places associated with van Gogh, and a complete collection of his letters. Thanks to special QR codes, visitors can listen to audio recordings that immerse them in the artist's world of thoughts and emotions.
"The multisensory presentation itself lasts 45 minutes. But to see the whole thing—the biographical section, the letters, and the copies of the paintings—it's worth setting aside about two hours. The exhibition is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., but please arrive no later than 7 p.m. to fully experience it," emphasizes Daria Solar.
Van Gogh created over 2,000 paintings and wrote over 600 letters, which are now held in major museums and private collections around the world. Thanks to the Szczecin exhibition, viewers can experience his art in a completely new, engaging way—through their senses and emotions, not just through sight.
The exhibition "Van Gogh – The Immersive Exhibition" in Szczecin will last until December 7, 2025.
