Polish music abroad? In the age of streaming services, that's no surprise. So we check out which Polish songs dominated playlists outside our country. Dawid Podsiadło? Krzysztof Zalewski? sanah? None of those things.

Although it would seem that artists such as Dawid Podsiadło or sanah have achieved such success in our country that they should try their hand at it abroad, it is not their hits that are most frequently played Polish in other countries.

Okay... So which local artists are being listened to around the world? This is what we learn from a statement from the streaming platform Spotify .

As the first half of the year comes to a close, Spotify looked at the latest streaming data to see which new Polish releases were the most streamed globally.

The list opens with "Fina Lana," a duet by 6YNTHMANE featuring LXGHTXNG . The song has been streamed almost 19 million times!

In second place was Ogryzek , who boasts that his songs "Aura" and "Glory" dominated the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic charts for over 20 weeks, reaching billions of streams worldwide. His track "Aura of Glory" has already reached over 10 million streams.

In third place was… Justyna Steczkowska . This may seem surprising at first, but let's not forget the Polish legend's participation in this year's Eurovision Song Contest . Listeners around the world loved "Gaja" !

The list also included Żabson , among others, and outside the top ten appeared Behemoth and guitarist Marcin Patrzałek , who played on a Will Smith song.

As you can see, the list is missing anyone we could safely call contemporary pop stars in Poland. The aforementioned Dawid Podsiadło , sanah , Krzysztof Zalewski , or even rap stars like Mata are not included. A way to pursue a career abroad? It seems likely that electronica and possibly niche genres that have a large global fan base, such as metal .
