The first poster of the long-awaited film about Chopin has been presented. We know who will play the composer

On October 10, a biographical spectacle dedicated to Fryderyk Chopin, entitled "Chopin, Chopin!", will debut on Polish cinema screens. In anticipation of the premiere, Telewizja Polska presented the first teaser poster of this superproduction, in which we can see the leading actor - Eryk Kulm.

"A genius, a celebrity, a man" - these are the words that describe the film's main character, Fryderyk Chopin, on the poster "Chopin, Chopin!". The central part of the poster is occupied by the image of the pianist, played by Eryk Kulm . He looks melancholy ahead.

As the creators assure, "Chopin, Chopin!" will show the master Fryderyk that we do not know and that we will not read about in textbooks. It will be a story about a dandy in love with life , famous for his great sense of humor, a charming genius of the piano and a man who lives until he loses his breath.

"Chopin, Chopin!" was produced on a grand scale. It took over two years of preparations, a four-month shooting period, 260 actors and bit parts, over 5,000 extras, over 300 historical vehicles - including carriages, stagecoaches, omnibuses and over 600 people involved in the production. Impressive set designs, costumes and a budget of PLN 72 million , which makes this film one of the most expensive Polish productions in history.

The Chopin biography was directed by Michał Kwieciński , who had already collaborated with Eryk Kulm on the famous "Philip". Josephine de La Baume played the role of George Sand, Victor Meutelet played Ferenc Liszt, and Lambert Wilson will play King Louis Philippe I. The other roles in "Chopin, Chopin!" are played by: Karolina Gruszka, Maja Ostaszewska, Michał Pawlik, Kamil Szeptycki, Martyna Byczkowska, Dominika Ostałowska and Grzegorz Damięcki.
