Ukrainian Music Days for three days in Warsaw

Music knows no boundaries. This September, we'll be able to experience works by Ukrainian composers. The program for the 11th Ukrainian Music Days in Warsaw is now live.
As Fisz rapped on "Polepiony Dźwięki," music is the language of the universe. It's worth exploring compositions by artists from other countries. A good opportunity to do so is the 11th Ukrainian Music Days in Warsaw , which kicks off in September.
The creator and artistic director of the festival is the conductor and composer Roman Rewakowicz.

The festival has been organized since 1999, and each edition provides a direct experience of Ukrainian classical music . This year's concerts will take place on September 7, 9, and 12, 2025, at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio .
Program of the 11th Ukrainian Music Days in WarsawThis year's edition of the festival will feature three concerts.
On Sunday, September 7, a chamber concert will be held, featuring the KWARTLUDIUM ensemble : Dagna Sadkowska (violin), Piotr Nowicki (piano), Michał Górczyński (clarinet, bass clarinet), Paweł Nowicki (percussion instruments).
Viewers will be able to hear compositions by, among others, Marta Haladżun , Kateryna Grywul and Zoltan Almaszi .
For Tuesday, September 9, the organizers have prepared a performance by the proMODERN vocal sextet : Marta Czarkowska (soprano), Katarzyna Szymkowiak (mezzo-soprano), Martyna Jankowska (mezzo-soprano), Aleksander Rewiński (tenor), Krzysztof Chalimoniuk (baritone), Piotr Pieron (bass, artistic director).
The group will present three- and six-voice pieces from the Supraśl Canticles from the late 17th century, as well as premieres of pieces for vocal sextet.
The grand finale, i.e. the concert of the Pomeranian Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra Capella BydgostiensisOn Friday, September 12th, the grand finale, an orchestral concert.
Olga Pasiecznik (soprano), Nazar Plyska (violin) and the Pomeranian Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra Capella Bydgostiensis conducted by Roman Rewakowicz will perform for the audience at the Witold Lutosławski Polish Radio Concert Studio .
The program includes songs for soprano and string orchestra by Mykola Lysenko , Kyryla Stetsenko , Jakiw Stepowy , Viktor Kosenko , Dezyderij Zador and Neonila Skorobohat'ko .
The festival is organized by the Pro Musica Viva Foundation , whose goals include supporting music institutions, popularizing musical culture, and supporting cultural projects.
The festival received a grant from the Capital City of Warsaw and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in cooperation with the National Institute of Music and Dance .
