Claudio Lins talks about the show with his mother, Lucinha Lins: 'It's delicious'

Cláudio Lins will debut a show in September with his mother, the veteran and beloved Lucinha Lins . Furthermore, this Wednesday (13), at the Fashion Mall Theater and in a single session, he joins the cast of Gota D'água. The actor didn't stop there: he directs his father, Ivan Lins , in a show to celebrate his 80th birthday and travels with the musical Chateu - 100 anos . In conversation with CARAS Brasil, he recalled his work as Bruno in História de Amor and talked about these moments with and without his family on stage. Read the full story below!
What has it been like being part of the cast of Gota D'Água and working with a cast full of talent?
"It's wonderful to be able to stage a classic like Gota D'água and sing Chico Buarque's songs, especially surrounded by talented friends. Most of us were in the great 2008/2009 production directed by João Fonseca, and the great Izabella Bicalho plays an impressive Joana! Even in this concert version, those who see it leave the theater feeling moved."
"Story of Love" is currently airing and receiving a lot of love from viewers. How do you see this moment in drama, where classics—always beloved—are receiving even more attention and love from soap opera fans?
"Look at us talking about classics again... I think we're experiencing a huge search for renewal, and there's an audience that's been somewhat forgotten. So when a hit like "Love Story" airs again, older audiences have the opportunity to be moved by great actors and good plots. And that's important to show new generations that we have a past, a journey, a history."
In História de Amor, you played Bruno. What was it like behind the scenes? Do you miss doing more soap operas?
"Yes, I miss it a bit, because even though I've been dedicating more time to music and theater in recent years (I'm currently performing in São Paulo with the musical Chatô and Diários Associados), the truth is that I love doing television! Especially because I started right away with a hit by Manoel Carlos! Behind the scenes I was able to interact with José Mayer, Yara Cortez, Claudio Corrêa e Castro, Regina Duarte, my friend Carla Marins and many other dear colleagues. I was lucky!"
In September, you'll debut a show with the incredible Lucinha Lins, your mother. What has the preparation been like, and how do you feel about sharing the stage with her?
"We've actually done this show before, but this is the first time we're performing in Rio. The show is beautiful, and my mom and I had a lot of fun together. In fact, I love working with my parents. So much so that I just directed my dad Ivan Lins' 80th birthday tour. Being on stage with them is a privilege!"
