Preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest final officially began this Sunday, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, May 13, with its first semi-final (in which Portugal will perform).
Participants walked the turquoise carpet in Basel, Switzerland, to mark the start of Eurovision week.
The event was marked by strong opposition from the public present at the event to the participation of the team representing Israel, as well as the carelessness in the online broadcast that did not show the passage of the Portuguese representatives, NAPA, on the catwalk.
But, in addition to this, the ceremony was also marked by moments of excitement, exuberance and elegance, with participants showing off their best possessions, as well as their attire.

The usual parade on the turquoise carpet - again marked by protests against the Israeli participant - marks the beginning of Eurovision week and aims to introduce the participants, but the broadcast left NAPA out.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place in Basel, Switzerland, following Nemo's victory with 'The Code' in last year's edition.
