Cameron's message to Istanbul

The Turkish Culture Road Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, is hosting James Cameron, one of the most iconic figures in cinema history, in Istanbul this year. The exhibition "The Art of James Cameron," showcasing the director's creative journey, will open at the Istanbul Cinema Museum on September 27.

The legendary director sent a special message to Istanbul ahead of the exhibition, saying: "Growing up in a small town in Canada, I spent hours drawing imaginary worlds, alien creatures, and futuristic machines. I discovered cinema later; it all began with pens, pencils, and paints. As part of the Istanbul Culture Road Festival, you'll be able to see hundreds of pieces from my personal collection, starting with my first drawings as a child and ending with my sketches for The Terminator, Aliens, Titanic, and Avatar. This exhibition is a deep journey into my creative process."
