The 17th ETHOS Ankara International Theatre Festival Begins

The 17th ETHOS Ankara International Theatre Festival will meet art lovers between 16-26 October 2025.

The opening ceremony of the festival will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 20:30 at the Çankaya Municipality Doğan Taşdelen Contemporary Arts Center.

The opening program will feature a screening of the festival's promotional film, followed by performances by Nemo (Germany) and Yaşar Nezih Eyüboğlu (Istanbul) in "Pantwomim: Theater and the City." The Alegria Choir will then provide the audience with a musical experience with a concert themed "Songs of the City."

The 17th ETHOS Academic Service Award will be presented to Prof. Dr. Sacit Hadi Akdede. The festival will be directed by Yeşim Eyüboğlu, and the festival committee will be chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. H. Serhan Sarıkaya.

Art lovers from Ankara will follow the festival for 10 days.
