The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards have been announced.

LL Cool J hosted the night, which featured Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Sombr, Alex Warren, J Balvin, DJ Snake, Busta Rhymes, Mariah Carey and Ricky Martin.
Lady Gaga, currently making a name for herself with her "The Mayhem Ball" tour, dominated the evening. She became the night's most-awarded winner, winning four out of 12 nominations.

Ricky Martin received the Latin Icon Award at the event, honoring his 30-year career.
Busta Rhymes was honored with the Rock the Bells Visionary Award, honoring his cultural impact and successful music career.
Mariah Carey also received the Video Vanguard Award on the night. Accepting her award from Ariana Grande, the renowned artist performed a medley of her songs, including "Fantasy," "Heartbreaker," "Obsessed," and "We Belong Together."
