Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Take Couples Dressing to the Next Level at the 2025 Met Gala

The Met Gala holds a special place in Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s love story, as the couple famously attended the 2017 gala together before officially beginning their relationship in 2018. After skipping last year’s event, they returned to the red carpet tonight for the 2025 festivities.

Chopra wore a polka-dot structured jacket, matching dress, and billowing train, while Jonas complemented her look perfectly in his own black-and-white ensemble. Both made sure to pay tribute to this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

The couple has been spending time in New York City recently, as Jonas is currently starring on Broadway in The Last Five Years. With a night off from the show, the Met Gala offered a rare opportunity for Chopra and Jonas to enjoy an evening out together during the production’s run.

In February, Chopra spoke to Harper’s Bazaar UK about how she knew Jonas was the man she wanted to marry. She had five qualities she was looking for in a partner when Jonas slid into her DMs.

“The first was honesty, because there were times in some of my previous relationships when I’d been hurt by dishonesty,” she shared. “The second was that he had to appreciate the value of family. Third: he had to take his profession very seriously, because I take mine very seriously. Fourth: I wanted someone who was creative and had the imagination to dream big with me. And fifth: I wanted someone who had drive and ambition, like I did.”

Jonas had all those things. “I wouldn’t have married him if he didn’t,” she said. “You have to look for someone who respects you. Respect is different from love and affection...you’ve got to kiss a lot of frogs until you find your prince.”
