While 18,000 Rouge et Bleu supporters were lucky enough to secure a seat inside Munich's Allianz Arena to experience the moment up close, many found themselves on the sidelines. But given the excitement generated by this final, Paris Saint-Germain chose to offer 48,000 fans the opportunity to follow the match from the Porte de Saint-Cloud stadium. It only took 48 hours to sell out the first 38,000 tickets, followed by 24 hours for the additional 10,000 tickets to be offered.
In addition to the match, which will start at 9 p.m., PSG is also offering its fans the chance to take to the stands at the Parc des Princes from 7:30 p.m. to attend a musical show which will start 15 minutes later, featuring big names in Parisian rap including Franglish, Gazo , Nono La Grinta and Siaka.
The club then planned a huge setup for broadcasting the final with the installation of four giant screens, each 18 metres long and 10 metres wide, to allow the 48,000 supporters present - and 200 accredited journalists - to watch the match as if from their sofas.
Around a hundred people and workers have been mobilized since Tuesday to complete this large-scale project, while waiting for the Parisians to attempt to make history in Bavaria on Saturday evening.
