Viriat. Christophe and Émilie, united by their love of rugby and the andouillette festival.

The couple always attends the famous andouillette festival organized by the Viriat Rugby Club (RCV). For Christophe Serva, this volunteer commitment dates back to 2015, when he caught the andouillette bug.

"I spontaneously showed up one Saturday morning during the andouillette festival in 2014 to offer my help within the club and I was lucky enough to meet the directors Christian Brevet and Lilian Daujat who invited me to come back that same evening. The festive and friendly spirit of the andouillette did the rest. Since then, I have been an educator at the rugby school, then coach of the reserve team for the last five years," emphasizes Christophe Serva.

Christophe is a member of the cooking team at Bibi's Guinguette . "It's always a wonderful time to share when we get together at the Andouillette and also an opportunity to kick off the rugby season. This year, some great matches are planned."

Since 2019, Émilie has been part of the team of 200 volunteers. A unifying event, the andouillette festival is also a good gateway to joining the club. “What better way to join this big RCV family than to volunteer at this big festival. That's what happened for me, and this will be the sixth year that I've volunteered for table service under the marquees. It's always a pleasure to lend a hand to make this event run as smoothly as possible, especially for its 40th anniversary ,” says Émilie.

On the sporting side, Émilie joined the women's touch rugby team created two years ago within the club. "More wonderful moments of sharing combining sport, leisure, and festivities when we participate in different tournaments throughout the season. We are a close-knit team full of enthusiasm," adds Émilie.

Like every year, this friendly and dedicated couple returned from a trip to Greece just in time to make sure they didn't miss this major annual event. Christophe and Émilie are looking forward to celebrating the 40th anniversary of the andouillette festival together.
