Shad and jazz music. Next Saturday, Bellano hosts the 21st edition of Agoni in Contrada (Shad in the Contrada). This dinner features shad, Lake Como's signature fish. It will take place on the charming Via Alessandro Manzoni, or, in case of rain, at the Palasole. Guests will be able to sample not only shad but also other traditional Lake Como dishes. The Bellano Jazz Festival will follow, with the option of a nighttime excursion on a Lucia, Lake Como's traditional boat, departing from the pier. The Bellano Jazz Festival will feature several locations and artists: the Paralleli Latini guitar, flute, and percussion trio in the courtyards of Via Manzoni; the Sara Grassi and Giampietro Spina duo in Piazza Santa Marta; the Yazan Greselini, Tommy Brandascio, and Luciano Zadro trio in Via Cavour; Bruno Bischi sextet with Bruno Bischi on tenor saxophone, Franci Manzoni on trumpet and flugelhorn, Simone Daclon on piano, Roberto Piccolo on double bass, Massimo Minardi on guitar, and Massimo Pintori on drums in Piazza Tommaso Grossi from 9 pm.
