Fashion meets opera: the 2025 Opera Prima Festival is presented.

In an atmosphere suspended between beauty and inspiration, the Atelier Nùela in Udine hosted the "Fashion Meets Opera" evening event on July 9th. This marked the official presentation of the 2025 program of Opera Prima, the opera festival directed and conceived by Maestro Tiziano Duca, one of the most passionate figures on the Friulian cultural scene. This year's edition, scheduled to begin August 29th at Villa Sabbatini in Pozzuolo del Friuli, will be dedicated to one of the most famous and captivating titles in the operatic repertoire: Giacomo Puccini's "Turandot," a work symbolizing mystery, power, and redemption. The initiative is part of the Puccini 2025 Project, which celebrates the centenary of the Lucca-born composer's death with new productions and innovative artistic approaches. Guests were welcomed by Manuela Peressutti, owner of the Udine atelier and its Vienna branch on Via Principe Eugenio, who designed the evening's staging with taste and vision. Fashion and music thus converged in a shared narrative, showcasing two Italian excellences that share elegance, tradition, and a creative spirit. Some of the most representative institutional figures in the region were present to testify to the value of the event: Fabrizio Pitton, Mayor of Talmassons; Piermauro Zanin, General Manager of FVG Energia and former President of the Regional Council of Friuli Venezia Giulia; Franco Iacop, President of Fogolâr Furlan nel Mondo; and Maurizio Negro, Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Gorizia. "This event was born from the desire to create concrete synergies between different languages," stated Manuela Peressutti. "Fashion, opera, architecture, wine: everything here comes together to convey an idea of culture that doesn't simply exist, but becomes a living, shared experience. Opera Prima represents an open and bold vision, capable of valorizing the roots while at the same time speaking to the present with authenticity." The evening concluded on a convivial note, with a wine tasting offered by Azienda Agricola Tonutti, partner of the event, which helped make the meeting even more special and heartfelt.
With "Fashion Meets Opera," the Nùela atelier has confirmed its position not only as a space dedicated to sartorial excellence, but also as a meeting place for the arts, where aesthetics becomes a tool for dialogue and cultural promotion.
