Pordenone Capital of Culture, the Municipality refines the details

Pordenone is immersed in the path that will celebrate it as the Italian capital of Culture in 2027. In this ferment, between events and planning, the priority for the Administration is that the entire city is involved, as during the planning. In these days a series of meetings are taking place to define all aspects of the implementation. As the Councilor for Culture Alberto Parigi explains: «The Capital of Culture project is moving forward, we are already working on it – he says – and we have held an important meeting to define the first steps, namely the constitution of the work team, but in addition to this we will meet the associations and other entities that together with us must implement the first projects that will take place already in 2025, so in fact we are already on this path, not for nothing the great Summer in Pordenone event will be characterized by the brand “Towards Capital of Culture”. We are working and will involve everyone and the entire city as always. We are also thinking about a meeting to be held in July, a sort of big bang, in which we will explain in detail what we are doing and what we will do”, concludes Parigi The path towards Capital of Culture 2027 is also proceeding thanks to important training initiatives such as “Cantiere Città”, a capacity building path that the Ministry of Culture and the National School of Cultural Heritage and Activities are dedicating to the representatives of the finalist cities in the competition for Italian Capital of Culture 2027, including obviously Pordenone.
