Brianna Lafferty, a 25-year-old American who suffered cardiac arrest, has described the eight minutes she was without vital functions. In an interview with the Daily Mail, she described her experience and said it felt like months had passed in an alternate reality.
After her heart stopped beating, Lafferty first heard a voice and then found herself in darkness, where she experienced incredible clarity. She recalled moving through a tunnel illuminated by a blue glow, where she saw symbols of binary code - zeros and ones, which she believed reflected the mathematical essence of the universe.
This led her to a white room with no exits. Then fantastic landscapes began to appear before her: snowy forests with unknown creatures with whom she felt a spiritual connection. When Lafleurty mentally expressed her unwillingness to see snow, spring instantly arrived. Before returning to life, she felt as if she had been handed a scroll with a sacred message. When she woke up, she was convinced that she was destined for an important role.
"It transformed my life," she admitted.
Earlier, it was reported that a Russian man had 18 cardiac arrests in 12 hours but survived. After emergency medical interventions, the man is in satisfactory condition.
