Russians have been warned that in 2025, housing and communal services tariffs will increase by an average of 11.9%. Moreover, indexation will differ from region to region, said State Duma deputy Vladimir Koshelev at the Russia – Islamic World forum, TASS reports.
“On average across the country, the increase in tariffs is 11.9%,” he explained.
The parliamentarian noted that this figure is the average for the country. In some regions it will be higher, in others lower. The amount of indexation will be determined by regional tariff committees.
According to Koshelev, the increase in payments is due to the growth of inflation. Operators also need to find funds to modernize the utility infrastructure.
