Carlos Mendes is featured on Choque Frontal Live in Portimão

Carlos Mendes takes the stage at TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão on October 16, 2025. The Portuguese musician, with a career spanning over 60 years and two wins at the Festival da Canção, will present an intimate piano concert, revisiting classics and previewing new additions to his work. He is the most anticipated performer in the new season of the Alvor FM program, which is approaching its 10th anniversary.

Choque Frontal ao Vivo returns on September 25th, with Bernardo Emídio as the opening act. A finalist on Got Talent Portugal 2025, the singer presents himself as one of the emerging voices in Portuguese music, bringing his interpretation of Alentejo cante to the stage. Tickets will be available starting September 18th at the TEMPO ticket office.

After Carlos Mendes, the cycle continues on November 20th with the Algarve band Mar de Fora, who fuse traditional roots with contemporary sounds like rock , reggae and blues .

The year ends on December 18th, with Gabriel De Rose, finalist of The Voice Portugal (2019), who debuts his new project in Portimão, after the success of the single Cenas, included in the soundtrack of the soap opera Sangue Oculto .

Admission is free, with tickets available the Thursday before each show, limited to two per person. The program is produced, directed, and presented by Júlio Ferreira and Ricardo Coelho, with support from Padaria e Pastelaria Delícias, the Algarve Wine Commission (CVA) , and the municipality of Portimão.
