A Moscow court has reviewed a high-profile case between former members of the group "Mirage". According to TASS , the Moscow City Court overturned the previous decision, which obliged Margarita Sukhankina to pay compensation and publicly apologize to Natalia Gulkina for her statements in an interview on a YouTube channel.
The conflict arose after a February 2024 interview, where Sukhankina shared memories of working together. Gulkina demanded that these statements be recognized as defamatory of her reputation and that she be awarded 6 million rubles. Initially, the court partially satisfied the claim, assigning compensation in the amount of 150 thousand rubles, but the appeal completely overturned this decision.
The Moscow City Court established that the disputed phrases were subjective in nature and did not contain statements about specific facts. The expert opinion of the linguist, to which the plaintiff referred, was recognized as biased, reflecting the personal opinion of the specialist. The court emphasized that the statements in the interview did not have a negative connotation and did not accuse Gulkina of immoral behavior.
Earlier it was reported that the person involved in the case of the death of the former finalist of "Mrs. Russia" was arrested .
