As part of the celebration of the anniversary of the nuclear industry, the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow and the State Corporation Rosatom are organizing a series of educational events for Muscovites and guests of the capital. The Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov spoke about this in more detail.

"The nuclear industry is one of the key sectors of the domestic industry, ensuring the technological sovereignty of the country. Moscow enterprises and scientific centers have historically made a significant contribution to the development of the sector and made breakthroughs in energy, medicine, instrument making, the space industry and a number of other important areas," said Anatoly Garbuzov.

He also added that for the 80th anniversary of the nuclear industry, Rosatom and the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy will hold excursions, quizzes and master classes at the industry's leading enterprises. The events will be held as part of the "Open#Mosprom" project in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.

Thus, on May 13, students of the Engineering Class at a Moscow School will visit the production facility of RENERA, a subsidiary of Rosatom, a leader in the development of lithium-ion energy storage devices for transport and industry.

And on May 22, students of the IT class at a Moscow school will visit the production facility of Rosatom Composite Technologies, where they will see the process of creating innovative materials from carbon fiber and learn about the areas of their application.
