Frosts were recorded again in the Moscow region. This was reported by the representative of the weather center "Phobos" Evgeny Tishkovets, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the weather forecaster, last night the thermometer dropped below zero by almost two degrees. Moscow got off with a small plus – 2.8 degrees above zero.

"Last night, frosts returned to the south and east of the Moscow region. The minimum thermometer readings dropped below zero in the following populated areas: Serpukhov - minus 1.7; Serebryanye Prudy - minus 1.5; Cherusti, Kolomna and Melikhovo - minus 0.8; Mikhnevo - minus 0.6 degrees. In Moscow, at VDNKh, the minimum temperature was plus 2.8 degrees," the forecaster explained.

According to Tishkovets, Moscow Region residents should not relax yet. Another frost is forecast for the night of May 12-13. Subzero temperatures are also possible on Wednesday. The forecaster noted that the weather will normalize a little further. It will be slightly above zero outside.

Earlier, MK wrote that more than 500 settlements in the Moscow region were left without electricity during the May holidays. The cause of the mass blackout in the Moscow region was a heavy snowfall, which an Atlantic cyclone brought to the region on May 1 .
