In June, Russian residents can expect a long weekend, which will last from the 12th to the 15th. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Yulia Sanina, Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development at the Rabota.ru service.

"The long weekend from June 12 to June 15 is connected with the celebration of Russia Day on June 12, as well as with the transfer of the day off on June 13 from Saturday, March 8, in accordance with the decree of the Russian government," the specialist noted.

The expert specified that the short working week will last only three days - from June 9 to June 11. The working day on June 11 will be shortened by one hour.

Russia Day was established on June 11, 1992. Earlier, the Ministry of Labor announced the schedule of days off for Russia Day in 2025.
