Ozzy Osbourne Reveals What He Will Be Doing After His Final Career Concert

Black Sabbath's July 5 concert at Birmingham's Villa Park is set to be the band's final performance. How does the Prince of Darkness imagine retirement? "It's time to spend time with my grandchildren. I don't want to die in some hotel room. I want to spend the rest of my life with my family," he said.
During the July concert , Ozzy Osbourne's friends, including members of Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Slayer, Anthrax and Alice In Chains , will appear on stage alongside Black Sabbath . The host of the show is the film Aquaman, Jason Momoa . The spectacle has excited fans. Tickets, which went on sale on February 14, sold out in just 16 minutes. The proceeds will go to institutions supporting people with Parkinson's disease.
For Osbourne, this will be the final farewell to the stage. The Prince of Darkness wants to end his rock star life for good and spend the autumn of his life in peace, surrounded by loved ones and animals, for which his wife wants to create a sanctuary.
- When thinking about the next performances, I would like to say "never say never", but after the last six years... the time has come - he admitted in an interview with "The Guardian".
It is already known that due to health reasons Ozzy will not play a full concert.
Osbourne last appeared on stage on December 31, 2018 , at the end of his No More Tours. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease just two months later. The singer has also undergone surgeries to help him recover from a quad bike accident in 2003 and a fall in 2019.
"I've been on the road for over 50 years. I don't smoke weed or live the rock star lifestyle anymore. I've become a homebody. I don't go out. I don't hang out in bars. I don't drink. So what's next for me? Time to spend time with my grandkids. I don't want to die in some hotel room. I want to spend the rest of my life with my family," he revealed.
He added, however, that he hates going shopping with his wife.
